Hi, do any of you live South Devon way?

Hubby and i are thinking about moving to some where South Devon way, we always loved it for Holiday's when the children were small. What are the hosptials like?
How is it living there?
I am not so sure RE rheumy clinics etc, where would be a good area to look around? We are going to be there August time, my parents live in Wexford Eire, they will also be going with us, the idea is that we will all move in the next year or so, its so difficult to know where to start, we have lived in the same house for 32 yrs, but now feel its a good time to move on.

I am very lucky that i will be able to retire at 55, due to mental health status, i suppose 26 yrs is not to be laughed at, but i think enough is enough, i am off sick more that at work now, its not fair on my work colleagues either. Next June will be my 55th, cant wait.

My parents are getting on, and with this RA i would like to feel settled, Colin (hubby) loves Devon also, hes thinking fishing no doubt. lol lol

We are staying in a cottage in Budleigh salterton.

Thanks.

I was at Budleigh for the day on Friday last, the weather was lovely and I had good sit down and
of course the ice cream. mmm

I live in Somerset, so near Devon. Somerset is also very lovely with great range of hills
Quantock, Exmoor etc.

Good luck

Hi Rose, Somerset was a place we also thought about checking out. Have you lived there long?

Lets hope Budleigh is as warm when we go!
Thanks for the post.
